DeAnna Senior Portrait Session-Triad Portrait Photographer-Randolph County, NC

DeAnna’s Senior Session took place on her grandfather’s beautiful farm in Randolph County. DeAnna comes from a very close knit family, so she wanted a few of her photos to highlight her special relationship with her parents. She also wanted a couple of fun shots with her boyfriend, since he’s been such a big part of her senior year as well.

Her dog, Crystal, was such a photo diva, she seemed to enjoy the shoot as much as the rest of us.

The weather couldn’t have been more cooperative and it turned out to be an amazing shoot!

Frayed Edge would like to congratulate DeAnna on her upcoming graduation and wishes her the best on her future endeavors!

Alison+Cary’s Cold, Snowy E-Session-Portrait Photographer-Greensboro, North Carolina

The temps were barely above freezing and a light snow fell intermittently during their E-session, but Alison and Cary never complained once.  In fact, at one time in the middle of the session, I heard Alison say, “I’m having so much fun!” I think the images below are a good indication of the fun they were having and also show how relaxed and comfortable they are as a couple.

After spending some time shooting in a Greensboro Park we headed over to Natty Greene’s for the couple to warm up with a cup of coffee and a couple of drinks. It was a super fun session and Frayed Edge is looking forward to shooting Alison’s bridal portraits and their wedding in the fall!! So you’ll be seeing more of these two in the future!!

Mother and Son Session-High Point Portrait Photographer-Fall Portraits

If you follow our blog, you know how much I love to photograph related pairs (mom/daughters, mother/sons, sisters/brothers, etc. This shoot is no exception. Frayed Edge recently had the opportunity to photograph this mother and son as they were transitioning into a new chapter in their lives. They both share a keen sense of humor and a very close bond which made the shoot both comfortable and fun. Here are a few of my personal favs:

L-Family Portrait Session-High Point Portrait Photographer-Fall Portraits

Ummm, can you say, “Hello, pretty family?”   This super cool family of three has it going on, for real!

Our session was just after little Mason’s nap, so it took him some time for him to warm up to the camera, but once he did it was on and we were able to get a few chuckles out of him as well as some serious squirrel chasing!

We were mesmerized by those baby blues.  Good grief Sinatra, eat your heart out.

Mother and Daughter Session-Greensboro North Carolina-Portrait Photographer

Frayed Edge loves mother-daughter portrait sessions. After a few moments in front of the camera, they forget we’re there and then a silent dialogue between the two of them begins. Once that happens, it’s pure magic. The images below are from one of our most recent mother-daughter sessions. You can catch a few of our previous mother-daughter sessions here and here.

Erica and Emory-Mommy and Me Session-High Point Portrait Photographer

Frayed Edge always enjoys photo sessions with Erica and Emory. Both mom and daughter are very special to us!

Since Erica’s maternity session we have documented so many milestones in little Emory’s life. We photographed her birth, her first month, her first visit to the pumpkin patch, and her first birthday (featured on our Facebook page).

Now she’s almost two and the following images were taken during a Mommy and Me session at a local park a few weeks ago.

The baby’s first year package is a great way to record all those special moments in your child’s life. Get in touch with us if you’d like to know about our Baby’s First Year Package or a Mommy and Me session.

Zach-2012 Senior Portraits-Greensboro Senior Portrait Photographer

Meet Zach, a rising senior at Northwest Guilford High School. You may remember we photographed Zach during a session last year with his sister. For his senior session, he was looking for something that not only focused on his love of nature but also highlighted his laid back style and upbeat personality. Bringing along his Eno hammock was a great call since he enjoys camping.

After graduation, he plans on pursuing a career in Physical Therapy. Frayed Edge wishes him the best of luck and a we’re more than confident he’ll have a lifetime of success in any pursuit!
